On the way from the conference in Tokyo he, at first, met the Vice-President Dr. Vili Saulala in Auckland where they discussed the possibilities of introduction of Bachelor´s Study Programme “Architecture and Civil Engineering” at their university Christ's University of the Pacific in the Kingdom of Tongai in which academicians and PhD students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering might be involved.
Next stop was a visit to School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Technology Sydney. Prof. Ing. Radim Čajka met the representative of the head of school Dr Kirk Vessalas and Dr Shami Nejadi there. The subject of negotiation was the conclusion of agreement Memorandum of Understanding that is fundamental for gaining Erasmus projects for exchange study visits of PhD students and academicians of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
The last visited place was School of Civil, Mining and Environmental Engineering at University of Wollongong where a similar negotiation took place – a meeting with the head of school Professor Timothy McCarthy and Associate Professor Muhammad Hadi, a member of the editorial board of our Transactions of the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Civil Engineering Series.
The result of all the negotiations should lead to signing all necessary documentation and starting bilateral exchange of PhD students, academicians and cooperation in research.
