Be online whenever you are on the campus. Use the Wi-Fi EDUROAM network and surf the internet not only at the Technical University but also at other universities in the Czech Republic and across the whole of Europe. In order to use the service of the Wi-fi EDUROAM network the graduate of the VSB ‒ Technical University of Ostrava needs to set the Wi-Fi password. Manual for configuration can be found on out documentary portal IDOC.
It is neccessary to use the log-in name in the following format login@vsb.cz, that is for example abc123@vsb.cz. The login can be found on your Graduate Card.
Lunch at VSB-TUO canteen*
With the Graduate Card, you can go to lunch in the canteen. Just put money on the card and choose from the menu of cafeterias or pizzeria.

Information on how to deposit money on the card can be found on the Card Centre website. You can then order food at the touch terminal, which are located on the ground floor of the cafeteria on the pillars opposite the entrance, in the passage from the K building, as well as at the FAST and FBI. You can also pay by card in cafeterias and pizzeria.
Lunch for graduates is free of subsidy.

The Institute of Physical Education and Sports invites Graduate Card holders to come and join seasonal training courses that are on offer.

You can regularly visit the fitness centre on the premises of the VŠB-TUO dormitory (building T), as well as yoga, aerobics, Tabata, or other cardio classes. Everything is accessible at student prices, which can be enjoyed even by graduates. It doesn't matter when you graduated! All you have to do is buy a permanent pass at the Sports Hall reception desk (SH), Monday to Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The only payment possible is by payment card. Don't forget to show your graduate card as well.
