As in previous years, the conference will bring together researchers and entrepreneurs. Notable speakers from VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TUO) include Radek Martinek, Vice Dean for Science and Research, and Deputy Head of the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Additionally, Radek Zbořil from the Nanotechnology Centre, a part of the Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies, will share insights. The Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Applied Artificial Intelligence for Materials & Manufacturing at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (FIP-AI@VSB-TUO) will be represented by Vladislav Kolarik, a senior scientist at the Energy Systems Department of the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT.
"At the conference, we will also showcase the unique collaboration between VSB-TUO and two Fraunhofer institutes at our meet point. We will explain the possible forms of cooperation, key areas, benefits, and address any questions," said Kateřina Angus, Organisational Support for FIP-AI@VSB-TUO.
The invitation to the conference was accepted Kjell-Håkan Närfelt, Chief Strategy Advisor for the development of innovation ecosystems at VINNOVA, Sweden. Among the panellists are Ivo Vondrák, former Rector of VSB-TUO, Pavel Tuček, Operations Product Manager at Forvia Hella, Jiří Lexa, Head of Marketing and Partnerships Lemonero, and Zuzana Šitavancová Research Director of MoraviaLab s.r.o.
