Statement of the Rector of VSB-TUO on the tragedy at the Charles University

Today's tragic event at the Charles University is a denial of the basic values of our society.

No words can express the sadness and horror that those who have been affected by this event must now feel. On behalf of our University, I express our deepest sympathy to all.

If you wish to express your involvement with this tragedy, a memorial site at the VSB-TUO has been set up in front of the Building A - Rectorate near the sculpture of Olbram Zoubek, Teachers and Students.
