EdTech and AI: students join summer school in Tallinn, Estonia
Students of the Faculty of Economics participated in a summer school within the Academy4Business project. The summer school took place from 26-28 June 2024 at Tallinn University.

At the end of June, students of the Faculty of Economics participated in a summer school within the Academy4Business project managed by the Project Support Centre VSB-TUO. The summer school took place from 26-28 June 2024 at Tallinn University in the Estonian capital. The programme was purely practical and was the culmination of three months of online mentoring, during which the students worked in international groups with students from Tallinn University in Estonia, Bielsko-Biała University in Poland and Tecnocampus in Spain.

As part of the summer school programme, the student teams focused on EdTech innovation, the use of artificial intelligence and presentation skills through elevator pitches. During the hands-on exercise, the student teams had to tackle two real-life problems from business practice. With the help of their mentors, they had to propose concrete steps to help two specific companies succeed in the market. They then presented their proposals in the form of a short presentation at the end of the summer school.

Besides the students and mentors from VŠB-TUO, the project partner Digiskills also participated on behalf of the Czech side.

The Academy4Business project (reference number 2022-2-EE01-KA220-HED-000100644) is co-funded by the European Union.
