After the holiday break, U!REKA Let´s Share Meeting took place

The event was open to all interested parties, regardless of whether they are already actively involved in work packages or other activities or not. Among the six dozen participants were also newcomers who are just getting to know the alliance. Within one hour they learned not only about what we do at U!REKA, but also discussed with matadors the key values of the consortium, which are:

- inclusion (everyone is welcome in the alliance and will be heard)

- co-creation (how we work together and build together)

- boldness (how we approach challenges - with courage and innovation)

The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to express what the individual values mean for them and we will continue to work with this information in the alliance.

And what is still to come during the autumn?

Rectors of U!REKA universities will meet in Brussels on October 9 and 10 to discuss the transformation of the alliance.

Every month there is a meeting FOREU4ALL, in which other alliances are involved, in addition to U!REKA.

We are developing a system for tracking mobility in individual institutions.

We are doing benchmarking in other university alliances, we are mapping the alliance for an online campus.

We are creating so-called knowledge-creating communities and centres of expertise: U!REKA Centre of Expertise Climate Neutral Urban Societies; U!REKA Centre of Experise Transition to Circular Society; U!REKA Centre of Expertise Innovative GOvernance and Citizen Engagement.

We are preparing interesting events:

• U!REKA Days: October 14-19;
• Kick-off U!REKA Knowledge Creating Community (October 21, 10:00-12:00 CET), the event is intended for public sector partners and researchers;
• EduForum: November 7, online; we want to connect our teachers;
• U!REKA Research Days (December 3-5, HOGENT), which are intended for scientists and researchers to get to know each other better, delve deeper into scientific topics and maybe start new collaborations.
