As in previous years, this year's edition was full of interesting lectures in which PhD students and young scientists from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Comenius University in Bratislava, Technical University in Poznan, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the CAS and VŠB - Technical University in Ostrava presented their results and current trends in the field of catalysis. The main topics of the student lectures were new catalytic materials, their characterization and applications in various chemical processes. During the lectures there was also a rich discussion and exchange of knowledge.
The programme also included two longer lectures. In the morning session, Ondřej Drábek spoke on Aluminium in catalysis and the dark side of the story, while the afternoon session was opened by Jiří Dědeček with his lecture Green deal as an energy framework for the future of the Czech chemical industry.
A big thank you to our partners, SIAD S.p.A. and Ostravar, for their financial support, as well as to the ENREGAT Large Research Infrastructure (project LM2023056). The seminar was realized within the INOVO!!! project, which is supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEST) and co-funded by the European Union.
Thank you to all participants and we look forward to the next edition!
