Introducing U!REKA partners: Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences

As the name suggests, it is a university of applied sciences. This means that it is more focused on practice than theory. While studying at AUAS provides students with academic knowledge, this is closely related to the chosen professional field. Venice of the North

Amsterdam itself is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It is made up of colourful houses over narrow canals, boats and houseboats. Walking through the city is a wonderful experience. It is also sometimes called the Venice of the North. Even in Amsterdam you can rent a boat and navigate between historic houses from the 17th century and bridges. The Van Gogh Museum, which is dedicated to this famous painter, is definitely worth a visit.

For many of us, the word Netherlands brings to mind the colour orange and tulips. You can also visit flower markets, great cafes and interesting restaurants with a rich offer of local specialities. In short, Amsterdam offers many experiences and is a combination of history and culture.
