MICRORISC, one of the leading Czech innovators in the field of wireless technologies, hosted the presidential delegation at its Research and Technology Centre. During the visit, the President toured the fully automated production line and learned about IQRF® technologies. He also paid attention to examples of successful collaboration between academia and industry.
“We presented joint projects, such as the development of sensor systems for monitoring conditions in hospitals, technologies for monitoring critical infrastructure protection systems, or the deployment of sensors in extreme conditions in the Pacific,” said Radovan Hájovský, a member of the IoT team from the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering.
His colleague, Martin Pieš, reminded that cooperation with MICRORISC is currently underway on the KITR project, aimed at developing a new generation of wireless modules with a high level of intelligence and energy efficiency.
“We are demonstrating that university-industry collaboration has concrete results with real-world impact, whether in healthcare, security or deployment in harsh environments,” added Jan Velička, a member of the research team.
