Collaboration within the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform is now also highlighted in the newsletter

The Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Applied Artificial Intelligence for Materials and Manufacturing at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (FIP-AI@VSB-TUO), a partnership of VSB-TUO and two institutes of the German research organisation Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, will regularly inform about its activities, research outcomes and opportunities for cooperation via an online newsletter. The first issue was released at the end of June.

"We believe that this newsletter will serve as a valuable source of information, keeping you informed about our joint activities and inspiring new opportunities for cooperation. Your suggestions and ideas are welcome", said Jana Kukutschová, Director of FIP-AI@VSB-TUO and Vice-Rector for Science and Research at VSB-TUO, in her opening remarks.

FIP-AI@VSB-TUO connects VSB - Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TUO) with two institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the leading organisation for applied research and development in Europe. The collaborating partners, the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU, the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT and VSB-TUO, jointly seek solutions for more sustainable industrial production using artificial intelligence, next-generation computing, materials or energy research.
