One of the objectives is to join forces with Czech scientists and space research experts to prepare plans and strategies for a potential mission of the Czech astronaut, Major Ales Svoboda, to the International Space Station (ISS).
SPACE DAY was officially opened by the Rector of the University, Prof. Václav Snášel, together with the University's Space Research Coordinator, Prof. Radek Martink. Prof. Jan Platoš, Dean of the FEI, welcomed everyone to CPIT-TL3, where a roundtable meeting of the representatives of the CAERPIN consortium took place, as well as a tour of the smart labs.
