Exploring strategies to meet growing demand for minerals: Workshops announced.

We are pleased to announce a series of workshops that will be held as a part of the BILATERAL INITIATIVES EEA and NORWAY GRANTS 2014-2021.

Education and Collaborative Knowledge Sharing in Mining Industry and Processing addressing the rising demand for minerals across various industries. With Europe setting its sights on greater self-sufficiency, these workshops will explore strategies to tackle this challenge head-on.

BILATERAL INITIATIVES EEA and NORWAY GRANTS 2014-2021

Key themes to be explored include:

Education for the mining industry – mining and processing.
Academic content - specifically vocational school studies - meeting industry needs?
Ways to make education more appealing.
These workshops will take place 24th and 25th April at Kirkenes, Fagskolen i Finnmark and aim to foster discussions and provide insights into navigating the evolving landscape of mineral demand. By bringing together industry professionals, educators, and stakeholders, we hope to contribute to developing sustainable solutions for our industries.
