As part of the nationwide Qiskit Fall Fest 2025, organised by IBM Quantum to celebrate 100 years of quantum science, Qtalks will take place on 6 November at the IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center.
The afternoon programme will feature a series of inspiring talks by experts from VSB – Technical University of Ostrava:
- Marek Lampart will present the infrastructure for supercomputing and quantum computing,
- Ivan Zelinka will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and the quantum world,
- Adam Bílek will explain the principles of quantum gates, and
- Jiří Tomčala will focus on image recognition using quantum machine learning.
The event will also include a guided tour of IT4Innovations and a unique opportunity to see the Czech Republic’s first quantum computer, VLQ.
Participants can join online or attend in person at IT4Innovations, although on-site places are limited.
