The International Cooperation and Services Office uses a variety of tools to reach prospective students, ranging from promoting English-taught study programmes through the specialized WeUNI portal and organizing webinars for applicants to cooperating with recruitment agencies from different parts of the world. International education fairs also play an important role, allowing university representatives to personally introduce VSB-TUO’s study opportunities to future students.
Autumn is the busiest period of the recruitment season, as the first round of admissions for English-taught programmes opens during this time. Following participation in the EAIE Conference in Glasgow and an education fair in Dublin, university representatives have a busy schedule ahead. In October, they will travel to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye. November will bring education fairs in Mongolia and the Philippines, as well as a recruitment trip to India. The year’s recruitment activities will conclude in December with the EduHub Fair in Prague, which is aimed at international students interested in studying in the Czech language.
VSB-TUO focuses its recruitment efforts primarily on regions that align with the needs and priorities of its individual faculties. Key target areas include Southeast and Central Asia, Africa, and South America. Each recruitment activity helps strengthen awareness of the university and attract talented students from across the globe.
