As part of the Industrial Toxicology course, we had the opportunity to attend a lecture delivered by an expert from professional practice. The lecture was given by Mgr. Roman Papoušek, Ph.D. from the Department of Forensic Medicine at Fakultní nemoncice Ostrava, who introduced students to the scope of work in forensic medicine and the fundamentals of forensic toxicology. The lecture also included information on acute poisonings, the most common toxic substances (noxae), and specific poisoning cases from professional practice. The lecture took place on April 1, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in lecture room LD 110. We would like to sincerely thank the lecturer for this presentation.
